Choose a word from Vocabulary Lesson 12. In at least one paragraph, define the word in your own words and explain where you encountered it. Describe how understanding this word helps improve your communication or writing skills.

I chose the word miscreant. In my eyes, a miscreant is someone gross and evil at the same time. The word kind of reminds me of calling someone a rat. Something sneaky and thought of as gross, even though I do not really find rats gross. I`m not really sure how I have encountered it other than a word describing someone in a writing text. I am happy I now know this word so I can use it as an insult to people. The people I think of the most with this are those older men who know a girl is obviously younger and still hit on them.

Today in class we did another vocabullary lesson.
