What life skills have you learned in high school that will help you live independently after high school? Which skills do you think are essential for your success after high school?

 I learned how to have my own opinion and not to always just follow what everyone else around me does. I used to not trust myself at all and would always go with what someone else wanted instead of what I wanted or thought I should do because I always assumed I was wrong. When always thinking you wrong your always looking at other people for what you should be doing or always comparing yourself. I have learned that everyone is different and just because something works better for one person does not mean it will work better for all. People have their own tastes and preferences. 

Today in class we completed a NEWSELA about the Bill of Rights and debated if we should update it or not. I understood both sides to the argument, it is a very important piece of history that should be honored, but with times changing I think it is okay to update it. Some of the things written are out of date now or do not matter to anyone, we could make it more influence
