Imagine writing a letter to yourself 10 years from now. What advice, hopes, or reminders would you include?

If I had to write a letter to myself 10 years from now I would tell myself to remember to care less about what people think because life is too short for that.  I currently think too much about what people think but I think once I leave high school that will get better in the future I see no reason for me to care so much, but just in case I forgot I would remind myself.


Today in class we had a sub and read pages 66-77 in the color purple and answered 5 discussion questions. Explaining the key plot points revealed within their family relationships, why there is a dramatic structure in one of the letters, what people's actions reveal about their character, how their behavior confirms things we already know about them, and how quotes reveal things about their character.
