Imagine it's the year 2050. What does the world look like? How have technology, society, and the environment changed?

 During the summer I worked with a man who informed me of many things that I later learned were true by the time we get to 2025. The population is at 8 billion now when the earth is only supposed to be able to sustain 3 or 4 billion, by 2025 it is expected to be at 9.8 billion. I think we are going to start running out of resources, food, and energy. I also think more and more natural disasters are going to happen with global warming. 

Today in class we read the letters 71-75 in the color purple and then answered discussion questions.
