We read a poem in class and discussed words that would give us the same feeling the man In the poem did. We had a discussion and shared with the class one of our word
My family is atheist, so we do not really go all out for holidays except for birthdays. My favorite holiday would be my birthday, and others, that sounds very selfish, but not just mine, others' too, especially my mom`s, because I get to be in charge of it. I also get to make a cake for every birthday, a lot more when I was younger, for everyone, including extended family, but now I just do it for family because of time reasons. For easter we had a brunch and an egg hunt, and then I went with my boyfreinds family to church, they are catholic, and then we had lunch.
I would pick a cheaper in-state college to ensure I would not have to pay as much and apply to as many scholarships as possible. I am grateful and blessed to have parents who set up a college savings fund for me. I would also plan to work part-time through college trying to save up to pay it off. Also try and get a job with a starting high salary so I could make more money quickly. Going to the schools that are harder to get into often cost more but you end up getting the same degree with larger classes, so I would prefer to go to a cheaper college.
I have always suffered with high anxiety since middle school, going back in fourth through the years with my mental health. My junior year was really, really bad and the only thing that really helped me get over it was going on medication for anxiety, depression and panic attacks. The panic attack medicine was the biggest help because I was suffering through them multiple times a week. I really liked the poems we have been reading and that you can have your own thoughts about what they mean to you. Today in class we read a poem by Emily dickensin and then started answering questions on the yellow wall paper.
