 My family is atheist, so we do not really go all out for holidays except for birthdays. My favorite holiday would be my birthday, and others, that sounds very selfish, but not just mine, others' too, especially my mom`s, because I get to be in charge of it. I also get to make a cake for every birthday, a lot more when I was younger, for everyone, including extended family, but now I just do it for family because of time reasons. For easter we had a brunch and an egg hunt, and then I went with my boyfreinds family to church, they are catholic, and then we had lunch.

I was not here. Write about a time you didn’t feel like yourself.

A time I did not feel like I was coming back from summer break out the sophomore year going into my senoir year. I had become distant with most of the friends I had made at Lakeside and was hanging out with people from different schools instead. Going into classes the first day I did not speak at all to the people I had been friends with in previous high school years. It wasn`t until later in the semester when we started actually talking to them again it felt normal to come to school and act how I previously did.

Prompt: Describe a time when you took a hiatus from something important. What led to the break, and how did it impact you?

 During last semester I was taking a hiatus from doing my school work like I should and it ended up making me have a lower GPA in the end. I had just started taking a higher dose of the anxiety medication I was taking and it made me feel lazy and not anxious so not having work done did not stress me out as much as I used to. It taught me the importance of time management and that I possibly have ADHD so it was helpful in a way. I had a docters appointment at 3 and they do not let you check out past 2:30 so im sorry I was not there
