NewsEla- Study: Asians expected to become largest U.S. immigrant group

Today we read, annotated,  checked our understanding, wrote 2 writing prompts, and did a short quiz on a NewsEla artical called, Study: Asians Expected to Become Largest U.S. Immigrant Group. The artical discussed the immigrant patterns in the United States, mostly with Hispanics and Asians communities. Comparing the percent of the immigrant population in the United States. Also talking about the American's view on it, taking Americans' opinions into percentages as well. I learned what percent of the United States is made up of immagrants, the main two groups that are immigrating into the United States, and how this might change in the future. I enjoyed the News ELA article, it asked good questions. Although I prefer discussions with the class but for when you are not here I feel like this was a good assignment, it is set up to were you have to pay attention.
