 Today in class we presented and watched others present the cultural poems we have been working on since last week. I did not present but I was able to watch all of the presentations from my classmates and learn about their culture. My favorite ones were the ones of Hispanic heritage in our class, some having a word or phase from a different language than English.

  Today in class we went over a shorter simpler poem. The poem was about the importance of the simple things in life. The example they used in the poem was a red wheel barrow that a farmer was using. Even though it is a simple tool it is still vitally important to him. We picked our own objects and had a class discussion sharing one of our items. 

  We read a poem in class and discussed words that would give us the same feeling the man In the poem did. We had a discussion and shared with the class one of our word 

 today in class we did a Kahoot about current events to win either a homrowk/ basic pass or a bigger assignment pass

 In this class we started creating our own culture poems and a visual presentation of them.
