Describe a place where you feel the most at peace and explain why.

A place I feel the most at peace is always at my grandparent's lakehouse during the summertime. We have been going every year with all of my family since I was a kid, we plan out one week where everyone including family from other states come into town and all stay in the house. It is really peaceful and beatiful up in the mountains and we always have dinner cooking competitions so there is always good food. I get to see family I have not seen in a while and relax. We have a boat up there so we are also able to do water sports and activities on the lake, me and my brothers really enjoy tubing.

Today for our virtual assignment we read letters 56-60 in the color purple and answered 7 disscusion questions in Canvas. The chapters reflected on the racism Nettie sees in New York and in the African countries, plus her relationship with Samuel.  It also discusses Celies new found individualism with her new found skill of making pants and how she now feels in control of her own life.
